Scripture: Acts 2:42–47 (Key Verse: v.46 – “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”)
The first Christians didn’t just meet on Sundays—they shared meals, prayed, and supported each other daily. Their togetherness wasn’t just for their own comfort. It overflowed into generosity and service that changed their world.
Monroe has needs: families juggling bills, students under pressure, neighbors grieving losses. God calls us to be more than spectators—God calls us to be a community where divine love is visible.
Imagine the ripple effect if we each invited one person to dinner, offered a kind word, or showed up to help. Small steps can change our town.
Reflection Question: What’s one simple way you can share life and God’s love with someone this weekend?
Action Step: Invite a friend, coworker, or neighbor to Sunday worship or to a meal with you.
Prayer: Loving God, make my life a channel of Your love. Use my small steps to bring hope and connection to someone else today. Amen.
