Scripture: Matthew 18:19–20 (Key Verse: v.20 – “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”)

Big crowds aren’t required for God to show up. Jesus promises divine presence even in the smallest gatherings. A quiet prayer over coffee, a few parents talking at Monroe Community Park, or tonight’s lasagna dinner—God is in those places.

Sometimes we think faith has to be formal or elaborate. But the promise of Matthew 18 is that even our ordinary, messy conversations can be sacred spaces when Christ’s presence is welcomed. When you share a meal, ask someone how they’re really doing, or pray together before a soccer game, you create room for the Holy One to move.

God doesn’t measure attendance—God notices openness.

Reflection Question: Where is one small space you can invite Christ’s presence this week?

Action Step: At tonight’s dinner or another gathering, say a simple prayer of thanks aloud or quietly invite God to be present.

Prayer: Jesus, remind me that You are present in the ordinary. Make me attentive to Your presence when I’m with others today. Amen.
