Scripture: “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
The early Christians faced teachers who said faith was purely spiritual. John insisted: if love isn’t visible, it isn’t real. Words can inspire, but actions prove them true.
Love in action is washing dishes, listening without judging, writing a check, standing with someone who hurts. It’s the steady, unspectacular faithfulness of ordinary people that changes the world.
The church at its best has always been a place where love looks like something—food shared, time given, doors opened.
Action Step:
Do one practical thing today that shows Christ’s love to someone outside your usual circle.
Prayer:
Lord, make my faith visible. Let my words take shape as acts of love. Amen.
