Scripture: Acts 1:14 (Key: “They all joined together constantly in prayer…”)
The first followers of Jesus didn’t wait for perfect conditions—they gathered, prayed, and waited for God’s next move. They didn’t pray in isolation; they leaned on each other.
Prayer partners remind us we’re not alone. A couple—facing sudden unemployment—started praying nightly. Not only did new job opportunities appear, but their marriage deepened. Prayer didn’t remove the storm; it strengthened their bond to weather it.
When we pray with others, our burdens lighten and our hope multiplies.
Reflection Question: Who could you invite to pray with you this week, even briefly?
Action Step: Text or call a friend or family member today—ask if you can pray for each other this week.
Prayer: Guiding God, thank You for companions on the journey. Help me to reach out and build bonds through shared prayer. Amen.
