Scripture: James 5:16 (Key: “…pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”)
Prayer is not meant to be a private hobby—it changes us so we can change the world. Jesus prayed, then chose an unlikely team that would change history. The early church prayed, then stepped into bold action.
When we pray for someone to connect with Christ, we’re opening our hearts for God to use us as part of the answer. A quick text, an invitation to coffee, or a kind word may become someone’s turning point. Prayer and action are two sides of the same coin.
Let your prayers move your feet—because God’s love becomes visible when we step forward.
Reflection Question: Whose name can you lift in prayer today and then follow up with kindness or invitation?
Action Step: Pray for one person by name today, then take one concrete action—text them, invite them to church, or check in.
Prayer: Loving God, move me beyond words. Use my prayers and actions to bring someone closer to Your love. Amen.
