Friday, 08/15/2025 – Start at the End

Scripture: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Relent, Lord! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants. Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” – Psalm 90:12–14 (NIV)

We don’t always want to think about life’s end—but doing so can be one of the most life-giving choices we make. When you start at the end, you begin to see what truly matters. It’s not the number of hours you logged at work, or the square footage of your home—it’s the relationships you nurtured, the faith you lived, the love you gave. Here in Monroe, we measure life by those moments when people come together—at graduations, weddings, funerals, game nights, and worship services.

Take some time this weekend to imagine your own “end.” What do you want people to say mattered most about your life? Then, write down one small change you could start this Sunday that moves you closer to that vision. And join us for worship as we continue this journey together—we’d love to walk with you.

Prayer: Lord, guide my steps so that my life reflects Your love from start to finish. Amen.
