Scripture: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” — Ephesians 4:2
Reflection:
Patience is not passive; it’s powerful. It’s the ability to hold steady when frustration flares. It’s the space between reaction and response. In that space, God works on our hearts.
Many of us live in a hurry—rushing conversations, rushing people, even rushing God. But love takes time. Patience gives others the grace we want for ourselves. It turns pressure into peace and chaos into compassion.
When we “bear with one another,” we imitate the God who bears with us daily. That’s not weakness—it’s divine strength.
Action Step:
When impatience rises today, take a deep breath and silently pray, “Lord, teach me Your patience.” Let that moment become a turning point.
Prayer:
God of mercy, slow my heart to anger and quicken it to grace. Help me to bear with others as You bear with me. Amen.
