Tuesday, February 24 – The Voice of Fear

Scripture Reading: Psalm 27:1–3

Fear has a loud voice.

It predicts worst-case scenarios. It magnifies uncertainty. It tells us we are alone. Fear speaks in urgent tones, demanding immediate reaction.

But the psalm writer counters fear with something steadier: confidence. “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” That doesn’t mean there aren’t threats. It means fear doesn’t get the final word.

Some voices drain energy and shrink courage. Others expand it.

Listening to fear narrows our world. Listening to trust opens it.

Reflection Question:
What fear has been the loudest in your life recently?

Action Step:
Name one fear in writing. Next to it, write one truth that challenges it.

Prayer:
Light my path when fear grows loud. Replace anxious predictions with steady confidence.
