Tuesday, Oct 21 – The Power of Testimony

Scripture: Revelation 12:10–11
Key Verse: “They triumphed … by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

There is astonishing power in a person’s testimony. Revelation paints a picture of believers who overcome not by arguments or strength but by telling the truth of what God has done. Your story—spoken with sincerity—pushes back against fear, shame, and hopelessness. It’s one of the ways God brings light into dark places.

Sometimes, sharing your faith feels daunting. But you don’t have to craft a sermon or memorize the right words. All you have to do is tell the truth about where you’ve met God—in hardship, in healing, in the quiet moments when you knew you weren’t alone. Your story doesn’t have to be perfect; it just needs to be honest.

Each time you share even a small glimpse of grace, you are bearing witness to a greater reality: love is stronger than despair, light shines in darkness, and hope can rise again. That’s how testimony changes the world—not through volume, but through authenticity.

Reflection Question: When have you seen your story—or someone else’s—bring encouragement or hope?

Action Step:Tell one short story of answered prayer or encouragement to a friend, coworker, or neighbor today.

Prayer: God of victory, thank You for giving me a story that reveals Your love. Help me share it with gentleness and courage. Amen.
