Scripture: Hebrews 10:23–25 (Key Verse: v.25 – “Let us not give up meeting together…but encouraging one another.”)
Life gets busy. Sports practices, work deadlines, and family commitments can crowd out spiritual connection. The early Christians knew that temptation too. Some began skipping gatherings under pressure or discouragement. The writer of Hebrews says: keep showing up. Encourage one another.
In Monroe, that might look like Sunday worship, a Bible study, or a meal with friends who point you toward hope. Encouragement doesn’t have to be complicated—it might be a smile, a kind word, or simply showing up when someone feels unseen.
Faith is a fire that burns brighter when logs are close together. Don’t let your fire go out by isolating.
Reflection Question: What tends to keep you from gathering with others for encouragement?
Action Step: Put Sunday worship on your calendar as a non-negotiable this week—invite a friend to join you.
Prayer: Holy One, help me make space for community even when life is busy. Let me be a source of encouragement to others. Amen.
