Friday, Oct 24 – Small Words, Big Impact
Scripture: 1 Peter 3:15–16
Key Verse: “Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that you have.”
Peter’s advice is simple: be ready. You never know when someone might ask why you still have hope. Maybe it’s a coworker noticing your calm during chaos, a friend who’s struggling with loss, or a neighbor curious about your faith. Those moments aren’t accidents—they’re invitations.
You don’t need to deliver a speech. Just tell your truth with humility and kindness. The goal isn’t to win an argument but to offer a glimpse of grace. When people sense sincerity and compassion, their hearts open to the deeper story behind your words.
Sometimes the most powerful witness is not a long explanation but a brief conversation that says, “Here’s why I still believe.” God can use even a few sentences to plant a seed of faith that will one day grow.
So be ready. Your words may be small, but their impact can reach far beyond what you see.
Reflection Question: If someone asked today why you still have hope, what would you say?
Action Step: Pray for courage to speak when the door opens—and gentleness to listen when others share their stories.
Prayer: Spirit of Truth, give me readiness and grace. Let my words and my silence point others to Your hope. Amen.
