Sunday, 10/26/2025: A Transformed Life
Scripture: Romans 12:1–2 (click to read scripture in new window)
Transformation doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from opening ourselves to God’s work within us. Paul’s words in Romans 12 invite us to surrender every part of life — work, relationships, routines — and let God reshape them. That’s the heart of worship.
When we let God renew our thinking, we start seeing life differently. The small choices we make — to pause before reacting, to serve instead of withdraw, to give instead of keep — begin to change us. The more we yield to God, the freer we become from the world’s pressures.
Living “counterculturally” isn’t about rejecting everything around us. It’s about letting God’s love define what truly matters. It’s the daily choice to be shaped by mercy rather than fear, grace rather than greed.
Reflection Question: Where do you feel most pressured to “fit in,” and what would it look like to trust God’s shaping instead?
Action Step: Pick one routine — your commute, your lunch break, or even brushing your teeth — and turn it into worship by offering a prayer of gratitude each time.
Prayer: God, renew my mind today. Help me to see my everyday life as an offering of worship. Shape me to reflect Your love in all I do. Amen.
