Wednesday, Oct 22 – Seeing Through New Eyes

Scripture: John 9:1–25
Key Verse: “One thing I do know: I was blind, but now I see.”

The man born blind in John 9 doesn’t deliver a theological explanation—he simply tells the truth: “I was blind, but now I see.” His story is brief, but it’s profound. In that single sentence, he sums up the power of Jesus to transform a life.

It’s tempting to think that sharing faith means having all the answers. But the story of this man reminds us that what changes hearts isn’t argument—it’s authenticity. When you tell what God has done for you, you’re not claiming to know everything; you’re offering living proof that grace still works.

Like the blind man, you may face skepticism or misunderstanding. Yet your honesty cuts through noise. The simplest testimony can open the eyes of others who are searching for meaning and healing.

So speak your story without fear. The world needs more voices willing to say, “Here’s what I’ve seen. Here’s what I know.”

Reflection Question: What has God helped you to “see” differently in your life?

Action Step: Practice saying your story aloud in two or three sentences. Let it feel natural and real.

Prayer: Healer of hearts, thank You for opening my eyes to Your truth. Help me speak with humility and hope, that others might see You through my words. Amen.
