Shining the light on the hill by connecting with Jesus Christ, connecting with each other, and connecting with the world.

Summer is a great time to invest in yourself and do some reading. Many people set goals to read a certain number of books during the summer. Why not focus on lessons for life by reading THE Book this summer?

From June 23 through July 28, you are invited to join our Summer Book Club: Lessons for Life’s Journey message series. We will explore six books in the Bible and seek what God has to say about some of life’s current challenges and experiences. In addition to the messages on Sunday mornings, we’ll offer a daily reading guide to help you discover more of the story and find answers to questions you might be facing in life.

And don’t worry if you can’t join us for the conversation every Sunday morning. Each week focuses on a different topic and book in the Bible, so even if you miss a week for vacation, you won’t feel lost. (Remember, you can also worship with us online on Facebook and YouTube live on Sunday mornings or at any convenient time later.)

Here’s the schedule for the message series:

6/23     Book of Exodus            How to Trust When You’re Running on Empty

6/30     Book of Proverbs        Choosing Wisely in a World of Options

7/7       Book of Psalms            How to Surface when You’re Drowning in the Depths

7/14     Book of John                 How to be a True Friend

7/21     Book of Philippians    Tackling Anxiety, Finding Peace

7/28     Book of Acts                 Finding Clarity in the Chaos of Life

Invite a friend or family member to join you for this important message series. We’ll gather on Sundays at 9:30 am in Atchley Hall and 11:00 am in the Sanctuary.

Sign up for a daily devotion related to each week's theme by texting BOOK to 833.209.6622.

Join us for an in-person discussion of the prior week's reading on Sundays (starting 6/30 with Exodus) at 3:30 pm.
